Board Game Arena

The gameplay is over bit laggy even there isn't many animation in it. I was playing on MacBook Pro 2019, is there a solution for it?
Also the positioning is sometime kind of confusing where when it automatically switch the layout from parallel to straight due to lack of space. when an animal in between dies, can't really guess which one is on the left and which is right.
