Board Game Arena

I've only just started playing this game but I can't work out how to assign resources to particular dogs (eg. during final scoring gain 1 Lead for every stick assigned to this dog)

The tutorial didn't mention it and it means I'm missing points!

The game will assign left over resources automatically at the end of the game

Hi, it might be just me but I find the automatic assignment unfair. What if you are going for the solo objectives and, the AI automatically assigns all the resources yet you don't want. I feel we should be allowed to assign whatever/wherever we want =/.
