Sure. That's what I'd be doing (and have done) if the settings didn't suit me as well. Play more non-Arena games with the settings you like - maybe you'll end up a guru and have some impact to change it. This happens with all games. If you play the game more times than others in a given season, you are asked what you would prefer for the next season.
