Board Game Arena

My lobby ( www.boardgamearena.com/lobby ) has a gear next to each favorite game, however my friend set up his lobby and it isn't showing any gear symbol for his favorite games. What might he be needing to change, maybe something in his profile?

Is he on manual mode, while you're on automatic mode (the far right drop-down)? I recently couldn't find the gears on my lobby in simple (non-Arena) mode either, and another poster pointed out they only show up if your games are set to choose opponents automatically.

I'll look into this and post the answer here.
