I think it is a problem that you cannot see the selected language in the overview where all the preferred games are presented.

I think you need to click on the game to see that.
Or is the language only shown if not standard (english)?

As a consequence, people are joining the game and find out later that it is not in their language and then drop the game.

This is a general bug for all language dependend games. It was already reported here: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=123892, please vote for it!

I think it's miseading that english is not written when you want to join a game. It's writtent when it's french but when there isn't a game to join, and as a beginner you could join a game in an other langage.
