Talkative/untalkative players

I like to play with friendly, fun-chatty players who react when you say something, not playing machines.
I can't put a red thumb to a player who says "hi" and "gg", plays fast but doesn't say a word during the game. Although that would be a hint for me for next time when I see I have given that player a red thumb, that would not be fair for them and I would be at risk of them giving me a red thumb in return.

So some kind of blabla-index showing how much a player likes to chat would be cool. It would have at least 3 levels (I like to chat and joke/I am ok to chat if you want/I am here to play, not talk) and be voted by other players, like with red and green thumbs.

Would that be doable?

The problem is, it really depends on the game. I mean, let's say, when playing Saboteur, (almost) everyone must be talkative, including me. But when playing games such as Seasons or Reversi or other games that requires more thinking being chatty is very annoying, at least for me, I seldom say anything when playing such games. That's my opinion...

I understand.
Therefore, a personal rating (neutral thumb or some other category) or note would be cool.

I'll generally respond if you start chatting me up, but i won't initiate conversations in games where it doesn't make any sense, not to mention that many times i play with people who don't even speak my language(s). so if you want to chat, start it yourself :)

I usually do start it, be it just to say "oh my, bad luck today", "damn I made a mistake", "wow, I didn't see that coming, gw ;-)", I mean, common friendly things you say and hear when you're at a live table. It makes sense in any game to react to what's happening and I wish more players did.

However, the most frequent reaction I get is silence or just ":)".
Blah.

@Bizkit: me likes ye :oops:
