How to quit a game, how to unblock a player?

I searched on the FAQ but I could not find these answers, players in games are unwilling to part with information either, so, what's more efficient than simply asking on the forum? So, let's say you are in a game and you have to go for some emergency, is there a way to quit, rather than letting the timer run out? I heard there is but I don't know where and how. And, let's say you have clicked thumbs down on a player and you no longer see any game with them in it, how do you unblock such a player, where is the option? Thank you.

Open the upper right hamburger menu during a game, and there will be an option to quit. If you quit you will incur a karma penalty. If it is a two-player game and the game progression is at least 50%, you will have the option to "Concede" instead, which does not have a karma penalty.
If you have red thumbed someone, you can go to their profile and click the red thumb again to remove it. There is currently no supported way to see a list of people you've red thumbed, although people have posted workarounds in the past that may or may not still work.

Thank you. I have not blocked more than 2-3 people so I am not inclined to search for the workarounds or their individual profiles, I am just worried about missing game tables because of blocking players, so I will try to use it sparringly. As for the option to concede or quit, it is still better than just diasppearing from a real-time game like a selfish noob, even if your house is on fire or something, hehe.

Yes, and you can also, if possible, write something in the chat, like "sorry, fire alarm, have to go". You can try to propose to abandon the game first (with some explanation), but that requires all other players to agree.

Yes, of course, even in an emergency you can say, hey sorry something came up etc. Since I have you guys here, I tried the mobile version for the first time, I could not see the button to control the sound for notifications during a game, is there no controls for muting, unmuting, controlling the volume there?

Better than quitting is to try and concede if two player or abandon/move to turn based if more
Quitting basically cancels the game for everyone

Yes of course, I agree. And the buttons for quitting and conceding are obvious, I can't believe I missed them.

Just be careful of the etiquette. Conceding is always okay (the 50% limit is a hurdle added for Elo manipulation) but quitting is more awkward, especially in a multiplayer game. When you quit you reduce the Elo change (both gain and loss) according to the proportion of the game played (which is minor) but a multiplayer you change the other players results (you lose and they draw). So in multiplayer games you should quit only in an emergency.

Yeah all this is in theory, hopefully I will never need to use any of them, when I play a real-time game I try to be certain I can stay to finish it for the next ten minutes or half an hour or however much it takes. I am at 100% karma no problem.
