Email Anti-cllmax

Does anyone else find it an anti-climax when you have spent a few days on a turn based game, carefully planning your strategies, watching what your opponents do, getting really close in scores and wondering if you will win or lose to then just get an email telling you the result? My dopamine deprived brain can't cope with this. I want to see the end of the game and the scores being totted up. I know I can still do that but it's not the same when I already know the result.

Can't the email just leave out that info? Or, even better, leave the game as "in progress" until you go into it and then show the final turn and scoring.

You can disable the option of getting an email when a game is finished. It's in the Settings under the Email tab. It's a separate option so you can still get email notifications when it's your turn etc, but won't get one once the game is over.

Oh cool. But then how will I get back into the game once it has disappeared from my in progress games?

It's in your notifications (the exclamation mark under your avatar menu) that the game has ended and you can go to the table. Unfortunately, it will take you to the final scoring as well though, and the button to see the final situation. It won't necessarily show you the tally up anyway, even if that happens in a game.
