Randomizing Hand for Shark/Swimmer Duo?

The last few games I've been playing, it seems like my hand is not randomized when opponent picks after paying a shark/swimmer duo. It seems like players have caught on to the card order. Can the hand be better randomized for opponent to pick from? It's not fun to lose the Mermaid EVERY time.

It is random, even if our brain wants to see patterns everywhere. See the previous forum posts/bug reports about the same subject
