Then why no option to confirm buy choice? Literally just basically threw a game because I misclicked (yes I know that is my own dumb mistake, but this is something that would never have happened in a paper game). Seems like an easy freebie for a better user experience.

Because that's the way the original developer implemented it.... He abandoned the game long ago. I've been the maintainer for the past year and a half fixing bugs, but not implementing improvements - there's an existing suggestion in the bug database for the confirmation issue you mentioned. I am going to remove myself as maintainer soon and am looking for someone to take over the maintenance and perhaps implement improvements such as this. Perhaps you'd like to do it?
