Board Game Arena

It Is hard for me to understand why sometimes I get a match with someone who is bronce or that has similar low points. I know this Is a game for everybody but to make the experience of the game More pleasurable. Should'nt the arena match you with someone your level or maybe a Little below but not that much? Because new players may get frustrated when they play with someone who Is pretty high level and have no mercy to them.

You can change your settings to restrict match making to the same arena level, or 1,2,3 levels apart.

Doesn't work for arena. I have it set from strong players to above AND I still get marches with bronce people :/ and they have only 180 elo or below

There are different settings for Arena and normal games, you have to set it explicitly for Arena.

I have been searching but cannot find these Arena settings. Can you be more explicit about where they are? Thank you very much!

Click on "Show advanced options"


Under Player's level, click on change:


Make your choice ("level" in Arena means league)


Click on Play now!

I try this, seems like arena and non arena are using same setting? if I didnt choose arena the player preferences setting are the same.
Furthermore, I try to change the setting whereby that I choose near my level and also +- 1, the +-2 and far above I choose never play with, but it seems like I still facing Elite Player in arena games, even though I'm still bronze
