I just played a game and they were rude, unfriendly, and impatient with me despite me sharing that I am new at that specific game mode. people like this should really be reported but this system only looks for "bad words". it is a very immature and childish reporting system. you could be having an intellectual discussion with someone about "bad words" and you would be punished because they think you used the word to insult someone. I no longer take this karma/report system seriously. people can indirectly act toxic and unfriendly and bga won't do anything because there were no "bad words".

Are you saying you actually reported them and BGA did nothing, or are you just speculating that BGA will do nothing? There is no automatic moderation for language used in chat, even for "bad words," only an automated warning.

Given how knee jerk moderation is for even the slightest offense, if you actually reported them and yet they still did nothing then I'd trust the moderation outcome.

As far as I'm aware, nagging a player to play faster in chat is still a reportable offence. So you can report those opponents. The automatic "bad" language detection in chat does not lead to an automatic report. At least I have never been moderated and I get the warning in chat quite often.
