Arena karma penalty.

Hi,
I had my settings on real time games and having just completed a game I started a search for players for another game.
Unbeknown to me,my page was now set to Arena mode and I did not know or want this and I have received a 32 point deduction for NOT playing in a game I didn't want to play and did not realise I had entered.
Why have my settings changed...I can't get into Real Time mode now and Arena is the default setting and how do I get this penalty rescinded as points are hard enough to come by and to go from 281 to 249 is very unfair in these circumstances,
