I finished a two player game, where my opponent had secured a clear majority in the fish clan regional influence. Earlier they had delivered to an Elder of the fish clan, gaining the token there. But at the end game scoring, they show only 8pts instead of double that value, according to the rules.
Am I missing something here or is that aspect not working correctly?

The points for the elder will appear under the Customer Bonuses section of the scoring and not in the Region Scoring section.

thanks for clarifying was also confused by this. assuming if you come second place and there's no second place points you get nothing right

That's right - Elders are powerful but can be risky

So you only get the Elder bonus if you come in first in that region??

No Ivo, you simply score double (x2) for the region.

So if you are first in a region and would get 6 points, then you would get 6 for the region and the elder would give you 6.

However, if you are last and would get 0 points, then you would get 0 for the region and the elder would give you 0.

You always get the bonus.
