question about Arena time set-ups

I initially thought that Arena had default time set-ups for rt and turn-based games. For instance, I believe that every game of wingspan I've played had 24 turns with a 3 day cache. I haven't played many games rt, so I don't recall what that one is.

But someone corrected me and said there are a variety of possible turn times. Now, maybe that person was wrong. I don't know.

I'm playing a game of AoC that has 8 hour turns. So there's that, maybe they've all been that time and I didn't notice until now.

I guess my question is 1) is there one turn-based time set up in each game for arena? 2) if not, how do you know what you're going to get?

When you look for / create an arena table you set your time preferences the same way you do for non-arena tables.
If you're joining arena though the "Play Now" link you can click the gear next to the game and specify the various time options you're willing to play with.
If you're joining arena through the individual game's BGA page there is a slider to select the specific game speed you want to join.
