Limited length of phrases to illustrate artwork

For our games, I and my friends decided not to limit the text to illustrate artwork to one single word, but to use full phrases.

This makes happen very weird and/or amusing stories.

In the phrases input window no length limitation is enforced.

However, once the input has been validated, the result in the "story frame" at the bottom of the page is truncated to something like 50 or 60 characters (I am not sure of the effective limitation because it is variable from one text to another).

Does someone know if there is effectively a limitation, and in case of a positive answer, what is this limitation :
  • 50 ? 55? 60? ...
  • does it include spaces or not ?
Thanks

Erratum

Someone in our game just discovered that it is possible to move up the "story" at the bottom of the window to make missing text appear !!!

So, it is more of a way the board is displayed than a limited number of characters. I think it would not be a big deal to enlarge the space of the "story" to overcome the problem
