Banlist discussion for TfM

In some of the other games I play that have cards, there are some cards that are deemed too OP to be included, like Agricola or Wingspan. However I have seen nothing of the sort in TfM. Given I have only played on * before BGA and there could be no implementation there I assume, but BGA could handle removing cards, as it did in those other games. Which cards do you think would be worthy of removing and why?
In my opinion I am probably okay with some cards being way more OP than others. So I am not necessarily advocating for their bans, just thought it is a good topic to discuss. If there were bans I would consider these:
- Earth Catapult: Generic cost reduction on everything, very easy to play and sets up your game really well.
- Research Oupost: Same reason as Earth Cat
- Mars University: it cycles your deck way too efficiently and Science is one of the best tags next to plant.
I am fine with some other really strong cards like NRA or Mass - as they have decent requirements.
What is your take on this?

i dont' see any card ban worthy.
sure some cards are stronger than others, but i don't see devastating cards or comboes that make you an automatic winner

Not gonna happen. BGA has a strict policy to not implement house rules. And since there is no official ruleset, optional or otherwise, that removes cards, we won't see that here.

Once again: this is a hypothetical. I am not advocating for a banlist, this is a thought experiment of what if there was one. And anyway, there is precedent for it, that is partly the reason why I brought it up. The current new banlist in Agricola was based on discussion and input from the players on this site. I am unsure what strict policy you are talking about and it does not seem to pertain here.

Read that first sentence of the Agricola banlist thread:
With the approval of Lookout Games, the developers here have kindly implemented a banlist option to improve the playing experience. Thanks to all who upvoted the suggestion to make it the highest-voted suggestion thus far.
Your opening lines are advocating the introduction of a ban list, I can't see how you are later saying this is just hypothetical.
It's not a strict policy, it's just common sense. If you don't like the game and want some rules changed, then you have to ask the publisher and/or game designer and get their approval first.

You are strawmanning me real hard, clearly trying to pick a fight. If you need to have an imaginary interpretation of my intentions instead of what I actually wrote, sure go ahead. I am not here for that though. Have a day.

It is always interesting to see which cards people think are OP. I have probably seen over three dozen mentioned by various people. Earth Catapult is a common one, but Research Outpost is a rare mention and Mars University never, until now.
A banlist would require a broad consensus, getting that would be the first step.

Genuinely don't think any card is ban worthy.
Being able to play Earth Cata on Gen 3 or earlier is probably the most OP thing. But if it's drawn after that it's only okay. I think it would be nice if it had a requirement attached to it for balance.
I'd say Kelp Farming and Nitrogen-Rich-Asteroid are my top 2 cards. But I don't think they're ban worthy really. Great cards that arguably deserve nerfs but aren't game breaking. I'd make Kelp Farming 7 or 8 ocean requirement. And NRA would nerf the plant gain to 3 from 4 for the upside.
