BGA recommend it’s best at 2 players.

BGG polling of around 100 people recommend it’s best at 4 players, recommended between 3-5, and actively NOT recommended for 2 players.

Does BGA need to update the player recommended marker (from 2 to 4) or does BGA consider other factors when recommending player count?

I tryed out 2 player and i dont realy enjoy it. This game is 3-5 player to me.

Trick taking games aren't, by design, made to be play with 2 players. And, top ranked player mostly play 1v1. I personnaly never played once 1v1.

Sail, For Northwood, Jekyil vs Hyde, etc. They exists, but 99% of trickatkers are designed for for 4.

i prefer playing with 5:

there is one "free space", that may prevent a paradoxon.
