I try to get a star (flower) and numbers 1-3, but how in the world do people get a star completed? That's not an easy task.

take advantage of the statues/columns/stained glass to finish those stars. Only trigger them if the color you want is up for grabs.

Take advantage of wild cards when they're available, and grab colors that will be wild next turn. Save up to 4 to use the next round. Then, even if you can only get 2 or 3 of the color you want, you have wilds in hand that will let you put down a 5 or 6. Be flexible - for example, if you're looking for yellows but you have a chance to grab 3 or 4 of a different color, take them. IMO quantity over everything, 90% of the time. The other 10% is a judgement call :D

Thanks for the tips! I find the game much more difficult than regular Azul. It's definitely very interesting.

With the quantity over quality approach would you say dropped tiles are as big a deal as they are in regular Azul?

Thanks a lot for this tip! I have been overlooking this sequence! i.e. hold off on unlocking a statue unless the bonus factory has your colour. A really good tip.
