Farewell

It's a shame this game is going away.
If Keymaster is pulling it, they should know that I have bought many of their physical games because I first played them here on BGA, including PARKS and all of its expansions. This platform can only help to grow the player base for this game. I hope they reconsider this move. The biggest games in the board game world are here and they seem to be still turning a profit. This could backfire. I know I will be telling this story to my board gaming friends. None of us like to have the rug pulled out from under us or feel like we're being fleeced.
If it's BGA that is doing this... WHY? Can you give us more of an explanation? What needs to be done to keep it here? Playing PARKS is the #1 reason I have kept my premium subscription. If it's no longer available, I will not be renewing.

This game was also a reason I became a premium subscriber. BGA is the way I discovered PARKS. Hope to see it continue to be available online on BGA! I enjoy playing it with players from around the world.

I have bought physical Parks, new copy from the store, three days ago BECAUSE I saw it on BGA and went through the tutorial few months ago. I am going to a mountainside resort today and I thought of bringing Parks and introducing it to my family, and I hoped to refresh the rules and play few games, so I can teach it. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, both in Keymaster whose games I will NOT buy anymore in protest and BGA for not putting it into news, so we know in advance and play a few games before it goes away.

FYI, the license depends on the publisher, not BGA. Ask the publisher (although they will probably not respond, at least individually).
Note: Caper: Europe from the same publisher is still on BGA. The specific issue caused this is limited to PARKS, I guess.

Maybe they have made a deal with another company to release a dedicated app.

Maybe it's something with the art? Parks uses fancy national park themed art, so maybe if they relicense or find a replacement, it could come back.

And . . . if this is related to the art in PARKS game . . . I wonder what will happen to all of the very popular user avatars that are based on this art . . . ?

Ok buddy XD. I get that this news might be disappointing, but publishers are allowed to distribute their games as they choose. It's not as though there's been some sort of
betrayal here.

I found the Keymaster plant!
Kidding. We know but we can still be disappointed and react accordingly.
