Gift Points for Writing How-To's

I was surprised to see that gift points are not awarded for writing and editing game How-To's because it is an important contribution to the site. Tutorial writers earn 600 points a pop, but How-To writers earn nothing.
Personally, I but very seldom look at the tutorials. However, I use the How-To section extensively during gameplay. I come back to it over and over.
There is a learning curve to using the How-To editor. It is fraught with work-arounds, and even some of the work-arounds don't work. It takes time and dedication to learn how to use it, in addition to the time spent composing and organizing the content. It takes hours, over multiple days. The site doesn't publish edits right away, so you can't even see how your How-To looks until the next day.
I don't write the How-To's for a reward, but seeing how much the tutorial writers ARE rewarded, it seems really unfair.
