So many players misunderstand the rule.

It says, "3 victory points if you have one or more Science resources here."

So multiple Science token, either by CEO's favorite project or multiple successful searches, DO NOT let you have 6 points or more.

Yes, you can have multiple Science resources on the card, but no, you won't have 3 points for each of the resource.

Therefore, once you successfully reveal a Microbe card, DO NOT waste money, or even CEO's favorite project on Search for Life.


P.S. You won't get 3 points by using CEO's favorite project on empty Search for Life, since CEO's favorite project duplicates an EXISTING token only.

Pay 1MC to stall a turn seems fine.

Not gonna happen all the time but it is a reason to activate it after it has successfully found life.

Certainly. But in many cases that I see they just do it.

Niche scenario, but it counts towards Eccentric on Hellas, so there’s that.
