I just finished a 2 player game on 90, exactly what the points on my board equalled up to to.

My opponent scored 146. However, all the points on their board equalled 93.

I don't understand where they were able to achieve an extra 53 points from. Are there points in this game that aren't counted from the board?

They had 58 in spare silver, which is 58 points.
