There is a thread in the actual Space Base forum with almost everyone complaining about it. Maybe you can post your alternate viewpoint there.

Probably the same lot who were complaining about undo in Azul recently. They really have something against updates that make the interface more accessible.

At least they seem to be asking for the option to turn it of for themselves, and not trying to claim clicking the right card is part of high skilled play...

I believe there now is an option to disable it.
