Worst is First (initial bidding)

I understand that there is no each turn bidding in Worst is First option. But there is an initial bid. How is the initial bid for turn order handled? Is it "Traditional" in that the highest bid pays and the rest of people don't pay and the turn order goes around the table? Or is it "First to Pass" style where if you are not the high bidder, you pay half of your bid. Or does everyone pay the full amount of whatever they bid?

It just happened in my game, it looks like it is "First to Pass" style where if you are not the high bidder, you pay half of your bid.

Its shown in the tooltip, but here is what it says

Worst is First - Initial and only bidding cycle.

Winner pays full value of their bid and is First Player.
Each player who passes, pays half their bid rounded up.
First player to pass becomes the last player. Second to pass becomes second to last etc.
If all the players choose to pass, then the player who passes last becomes the new First Player

OK thanks. I'm not sure what page this tooltip exists. I went looking for it but was unsuccessful. I mainly looked for the rules under "How to Play" but it didn't say how the initial bidding worked.

When its your turn to bid, the 'Make Bid' button has the tooltip.
Otherwise, you can only see this info when you are creating the game.
