Is there a reason opponent scoring summary is hidden?

When playing, I see a scoring summary for myself -- currently negative tiles, each color, butterflies. But I don't see anything for my opponent. I'm able to look at their board and count and keep track in my notes based on the game log, but that's really tedious. I was thinking about posting a suggestion to make opponent's score visible, but first I wanted to check if anyone thinks there's a specific reason for it to NOT be visible?

Hi, we made that choice to be as close as possible to the reality. ;) When you play IRL, if you want to know those informations you have to make the effort. It's not hidden but you have to count by yourself. :D
Thank you for your interest.

I had the same question. What makes it even more tedious is that you can’t easily view both boards at once (no zoom out option). So you are constantly scrolling back and forth or missing what the other player is doing. Keeping their score up in the top would help with this.
