Board Game Arena

Hi all, newbie question incoming, I’ve searched the forums and can’t see how to resolve this. We have the correct gems to purchase the reserved cards but we can never seem to select them. Always greyed out. Are we missing something simple? Thanks in advance. Both of us using iPads.

I had my first game on iPad today and I had to take several tries to select cards regularly, in particular when reserved. I never had the problem on regular splendor… but it reminds me of the same thing playing ark nova. It’s killing a lot of the fun of playing this game on iPad …. I did not test on iPhone but would not be surprised it is tied to the whole iOS platform…

I have the same issue--it says buy for free on the greyed out button and I can't buy. Any work arounds?

Apart from the issue when it does not register card selection on iPaf, there is usability issue when paying cards: if you have gold tokens, you have to explicitly select the tokens you want to use (because you could chose to pay with one gold instead of a red you have, to keep it away from opponents). But the user interface is confusing when doing so, and with the select bug also you often feel lost about why you can not buy the card. And if you select too many tokens (because of discounts for example), you can not buy but it won’t tell you this reason (and it is not that easy to distinguish selected tokens).

So check if you selected the correct number of tokens for each color needed and it should work (when you succeeded to fist select the card)

Sadly, this one thing where the base splendor interface is a lot more intuitive and fast then this duel version (not the same dev)
