2 v 2 elo calculation as a top player

Interestingly, when I win in a 2v2, I'm counted as tied with the "lower level player" and punished for it.
This doesn't make sense, for example it should be easier for me to ally with “Tactical Surrender”(266 elo at that time) than with "cheesecap4u"(129 elo at that time).
However, a tie with “chessecap4u” due to the victory in 2v2 would punish me more severely than a tie with “Tactical Surrender”.
A tie with “chessecap4u” -2.4 elo
A tie with “Tactical Surrender” -1.58 elo
