Coming up on 1 year anniversary of Marine Worlds

Physical release date - Oct 23 2023
Digital release date - Nothing announced and everything said so far indicates there could be years more of wait
And eagles are still not bannable. 9/10 games end with the "surprise" eagle you never even had the chance to hate draft.
Even Agricola and Wingspan admits flaws in their games and ban cards. But it seems there is too much pride to admit any mistakes with this game.

What parts make you think there might be years of wait ??
Is the 9/10 a real stat from top players table ? I really doubt so.

100 elo complaining about endgame and then saying there is too much pride to admit any mistakes gave me a good laugh, thanks for this ♥

You're welcome. It's because of attitudes like yours and the eagles that aren't many other 100 elo players in the game to begin with

Eagles are stronger in lower elo, because Eagle strategies require a lot of money to execute, and low elo games are flooded with money.

I heard at least one theory that the expansion could not be released in the first year of physical release, which gives me some hope, with that anniversary upcoming.

The short answer is yes.
The alternative action cards that can be drafted really adds a layer to the game. Also some cards get an errata, universities get a much more useful one compared to the double science one, and a complete new tier of animals in the sea animals.

I think, like everything, different people will have different opinions. So experts are complaining about the increased luck (wave cards, drafting etc.)
