What are the conditions to benefit from the bonus when selling the medici code card? The game gave me only 2 golds for celling the card but i could not find the option to use my opponent ´s purple action

I looked through your most recent replay, and neither you or your opponent bought that card, or any card from the West Market for the entire game.

Three conditions must be met: 1. The card must be sold from the table. 2. It must not have been blocked by the Bishop. 3. The opponent's purple action must be unblockable/possible to perform

The card is cryptography, the effect is Medici Ciphers broken.

I wanted to use the behead of The Grim against Sultan Mehmed
as it did not work i think i canceled my turn and did not buy the card in the end.
Not sure it would have been enough to save the day again Holy Victory mind you, i was hoping that the bishop would be removed in the same time

For future reference, every single card ability in the game does not work unless it is in your tableau. None of them will work while the card is in your hand.
