Is there a way to play in the arena and avoid bad reputation players?

There's nothing worse than being put into an arena game with a player with a terrible reputation who then abandons the game in the final round when you're about to win.

There are thousands of things worse than that, you're lucky if you haven't experienced them
This (or some variant) has been raised many times, for every game. See here
https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37451 and apply it to reputation instead of level. Whether or not it works, that's most likely not game-specific.

Maybe this works well in the arena but it does not work great in general play in my (very recent!) experience. Keep having people with 36% reps trying to join a game set to 75+

Maybe BGA thinks I'd rather have any game than wait for some well-behaved players to join. They're wrong...
