Future of BGA

Sorry if this is a repeat question that has already been answered. I read back in April that the BGA platform might be in danger due to financial issues at Asmodee. Are there any updates on that? I have been a premium member for 8 1/2 years, just wondering if this wonderful site that has formed so many happy memories and good times with people across the globe is really in danger?

There was never an official statement about it. Only people speculating...
I doubt they let us know if it was the case unless they want to get more money from users.

Dear BGA people:

If this ever becomes reality, don't abandon ship. Just add a premium tier for people who want to support the platform and keep it afloat. I play 13 euros for my on-demand streaming service, but i have more fun and spend more time here.

Are you aware that such a thing exists now?

Nope, i am not. If you are referring to normal premium, i already have that. I mean a tier above the normal premium tier. So more that the 36 euros a year.

This podcast had some interesting points to say on Asmodee's recent financial position.

If speculating is all we have, it seems it's not quite as bad as it has been portrayed. For my 2 pence: while in debt, a company that makes money doesn't usually die for no reason. BGA is a seperate entity even if it's owned by Asmodee, up until this point it's only been extremely beneficial to BGA with more top tier game titles.
