How will a Carcassonne Tournament round end?

*** I thought I had just posted this but must have fumbled it.

We started the 3 player tournament with (I think) 5 days each which immediately ticked down to 4 days (and so many hours). It seems that while players are thinking about their move on their turn, their clock runs down, but it is not a turn timer.

So currently I am still showing 4 days, player 2 is showing 3 days and player 3 is showing 2 days.

What happens when a player's clock hits zero? I assume they take no further turns but does what they have scored at that time, plus any endgame scoring make their final score and the other two just keep playing?

Then when the second player's clock hits zero, does the game end(?) because it would be mad for the remaining player to just carry on playing on their own.

I am not sure how it is going to end.

The game ends at its overall time-limit - it will tell you what this is on the main tournament page (presumably 15 days, if it's a 3p game with 5 days given to each player).

When it ends after those 15 days, then if the game is still unfinished, it will place people in 1/2/3 place by time-remaining.

Players can go into negative time within the overall game time-limit. If one player decides to be unsportsmanlike and skip a player who's gone into negative time (prior to the game's overall time-limit being met), then the skipped player will lose the game, and the other 2 players will both be classed as the winners.

This is not correct. Nothing ever happens automatically when someone runs out of time (on their personal clock) on BGA. This person will be able to continue to play until the game ends regularly, the time for the entire round expires, or one of the other players expels them.
