I had a game where I got the Ladybug spirit, and only scored 1 point for the ladybug card, but 0 points for the 7 unlit fire tiles. Does the Ladybug take into account both panoramas? How does it get it's extra points? the rules are not very clear on it.

The ladybug gets you 1 point per unlit fire in your panorama only (as for all the spirits actually).

In that game, you had only 1 fire which was lit, so you effectively only got 1 point for the ladybug spirit itself.
And that's all, the other panorama doesn't count (that said, the other player only got 1 unlit fire, the other 5 were lit).

And a little note, you said fire tiles, it would be more accurate to talk about fire symbols (as a fire symbol can be spread on 2 tiles).
