Game constantly changing view

I finally got "used" to it, but it was very confusing for me at first - and other new players have expressed the same frustration - that the game keeps automatically changing which board is showing as actions are taken. I feel it would be better if the game would stay on whatever view a given player has selected (their own board, their opponents board, "ALL", etc) - or, a). create a game option where the user can choose to either stay on whatever board they have picked to view themselves or b). have the game "follow" which ever board is currently executing an action (where option B is how the game currently is behaving)

The dev said in a suggestion reply, "Please check the preferences menu to disable this behavior, it is the button next to the event display and main reserve."

Does this help?

Yes, that did, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for pointing it out.

Thanks GTSchemer.

I'm always struggling with preferences. In some way it is nice to give the players flexibility on how they would like the game to behave and display. But I think most of the players never actually notice the preferences menu and just accept that the game is flawed because they dislike a certain default setting.

I'll think about a way to make the preferences menu stand out more.

My respectful suggestions would be:

1. Use a gear (or the triple gear font-awesome icon) instead of a slider icon. Yes you have sliders, but I think more BGA games currently use the gear as a standard symbol for "preferences".

2. Add a mouse hover tooltip that says "Preferences" or "Settings" or whatever.
