AITA for expecting replies in chat in the game?

This has happened multiple times in the recent past that I ask a simple question about a move in the game and the other player completely ignores the chat through out the game. Specially in a two player game. Is it too much to ask for courtesy reply? I personally find it extremely disrespectful and I end up blocking that player after the game.

yes, you are. Not everyone speaks your language, or even pays attention to the little chat box in the corner, and you posted this in a completetly random forum room. Just get over yourself lol.

Gotta love entitled extroverts expecting everyone else (oooh the alliteration there) to put up with them.

Yes, you are the bad one in this scenario.

I don't think it is unrealistic to expect a reply. You are playing a game with other people. That is by definition a social activity. That being said, I agree that some people won't notice that you said anything.

However, if I notice someone is talking then I will respond. So you are NOT TA.
