Ensure to play against an opponent with custom deck ?

In my settings I locked "play with custom decks" and I never click on the button with the two crossing arrows on the blue background to find games faster.
But some new players click on the button to find games faster and it feels bad for everybody. The game is not very interesting because it's one sided and they probably doesn't want to play other games afterwards :/
Is it possible to only play against custom decks ?

I found how to do it. In Arena mode, these options are locked for the two players and it's unlikely that a new player join a game this way

Actually the studio owning Altered (or the developer or both) want it that way.
The description of the "no custom decks allowed" option says that it is only intended for beginners playing their first game. Everybody else is supposed to offer themselves to you and your custom decks for slaughter.

Is there a setting for NOT playing custom decks? I played an individual with a custom deck with cards making it almost impossible to play with the decks which are online. Let's even it up, please...

Yes, there is. You can set the "allow custom decks" option to No. You get an explanation text saying "this setting is only for beginners playing their first game" but you can (and I think, should) ignore that.
