Board Game Arena

I love this game, and playing online makes set-up and play so easy; has anyone else noticed the stark contrast between the vibrant cards depicted on BGA and the washed-out colors on the physical cards? I just feel like the physical cards don’t do justice to the rich colors of the art and design.

It's because of how computer monitors work, they come from the factory with all the brightness, contrast, saturation and all the settings and pretty much the best the monitor can put out. Better even than Reality. You can't compare a digital image with an IRL mass printed item and compare, unless you have one of those *very* expensive monitors that Professional Photographers and Videographers use to get True Color. Even then the monitor needs to be adjusted and will still look better than the something off a printer.

For real beautiful cards, get yourself a copy of codex naturalis
(Although I like Faraway much better)
