Ladder Experience

After playing a decent amount of games, some things I think need attention:

1 - Matchmaking, there should be a toggle which allows you to increase queue time and tries longer to match you with someone closer to your rank. Kinda pointless laddering for 2 or 3 hours as a mediocre elite player, winning bronze/silver awarding 4 or 5 per win and then losing a single match -33 and back to less than where you started off a few hours ago.

2 - Lock deck choice prior to entering arena queue. Pretty basic thing. Opponents can actually view your match history and pick a counter deck. I discovered this randomly when an opponent actually complained about me not playing the deck I played the previous 4-5 games and was upset he did not pick his main :O

3 - Turn timer needs to be a bit more strict in some way. Had an opponent "rope" me intentionally because he was upset I played a card he disliked on turn 2 (Robin Hood). He proceeded to abuse the (lenient) clock as much as possible in order to grief me, the game took about 55m to conclude without him even trying to win the match.

For real, ELO is disturbingly broken. I don't see the point in having it at all, but it can't be arbitrary if you insist on having one. People want meaningful progression, it's incredibly discouraging to lose for the first time in many many games, lose all your elo progress, and see your opponent get more points for their win then you've gotten in 10 games. I got kicked from a tournament game the second I started winning when we were both out of time. This poorly designed website is actively hurting Altered.
