acess arena again

Hello,

For those who know me, you know that for me the ELO at tichu means nothing ... it is also a very poor indicator of mastery of the game because it depends on many factors (quality of the partner and quality of the cards and of course the luck factor present in all card games).
So I don't understand why access to the arena for a game like tichu is based on this indicator...
To put it simply a player with 60 games may seem a good player by his ELO and once in play is a disaster. I play arena hoping for teams of players who have mastered the game and when that's not the case it's frustrating!

I'd like arena aces to be based on the number of games played or the winning percentage...

What is the requirement, 100? That's for all games, and it makes sense because while you are below 100 you cannot lose ELO, and after being above you can never go below, so an ELO of 100 effectively means you have played at least a few games (and not lost all of them), that's all.

You're just repeating the current conditions - I know what they are! What I'm saying is that for a game mode that's meant to be competitive, this ELO limit is pointless...which is why I'd prefer it to be based on the number of games and/or the win rate...at least we'd have the certainty of teaming up with an experienced partner...A competitive game mode with unbalanced teams is no fun...

Because Arena is a competitive mode in which players are assumed to have a reasonable level of experience. This is more important in team games where your success depends on the competence of your partner. An experienced player using a new account will quickly win and hit 100 ELO, especially given the exponential ELO boost that happens in the first 20 games or so. And, if you're not deleting and creating new accounts with high frequency, this is something you'll only need to do once.
