Board Game Arena

I keep track of my BGA games by leaving my Games In Progress tab open. But if I leave it open without doing anything for too long, a little popup comes up saying "are you still there? click to continue". This popup is a waste of my time and clicks, and just generally kind of annoying, but more importantly it stops the tab name from updating with the spinning triangle when it's my turn in a game, making it much harder to keep track of my turn. Is there any way to turn this "feature" off?

It didn't used to exist at all. It was introduced to reduce server load.
There is no way to turn it off.
