I need to use the time joker because I'm going to be traveling where there is no internet. It clearly says on the page that each time joker is for 4 days and it clearly says it is only giving me a 3-day time joke. Can anyone explain this? I need the 4 days, not just the three days it is giving me

Are you sure it's not 3 days 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds?

Where does it say that? If it's saying just "3 days" for a time joker you just used, then the most likely reason is

4 days 0 hours 0 minutes 0 seconds
becomes
3 days 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds
which shows as
3 days

.

On my way out on this journey I used the time joker and as soon as I clicked it it said you have 4 days. On my way back, when I posted this message, I clicked time joker and it said you have 3 days. It was not 3 days and 23 hours and 59 minutes. That is not how it works. It just only gave me 3 days

They weren't saying it will literally write out 3 days and 23 hours and 59 minutes. It doesn't have room for that, so it rounds down to the nearest whole number of days that is accurate. 4 days is only accurate the exact moment you apply the joker (not accounting for relativistic effects). After that it is no longer 4 days, but it is *at least* three days.

"3 days" means "3 days or more, not quite 4 days"

Doesn't the time I have after using the time jokers depend on how much time I had before using it? So if I use it while I have 1 day on the clock, I would have 5 days when I apply it.
When you cast it while in the negative, it doesn't eliminate that collected negative. For example if you cast it while you have -10 hours on the clock, you'd have 3d+14h then - showing 3days.

Or am I wrong here?

Edit: i just tested and it's what it does for me. Although of course i can't see it exactly because it's only showing whole numbers. But my 2days table has 6 days now and my 33h table has 5 days now.

I checked a couple of the OP's tables, and the log said something like "+4 days of thinking time". Was there any case where it said "+3 days" instead?
