big thanks to Asmodée for the concede victory rules so that all new player who don't like game but only win can feed their ego with illusion of accomplishment ; now leaving game as soon as they know they gonna loose ....maybe next time give them new joker card who say haha i win ; they'll play it first turn we will save time...

this is now almost half the player but i imagine when you want to run the cash cow you need them ......

Could you explain how conceding a game can flatter one's ego?
I don't get it.

I conceded multiple games, and never felt once that I did great nor that I accomplished something.

You do know conceding a game means 'losing it' not 'winning it'?

you don't concede to flatter your ego ,you do it cause flattering your ego with illusion of success is all you're after so you concede cause you just need to fast forward any bad feeling or bad experience your ego have cause you can't handle them...

So that's why you concede? I'm pretty sure other people have other reasons.

I think you all are parsing it wrong. I think that when the OP says "only win can feed their ego" they don't mean that conceding feeds their ego, but rather that they only care about winning, not playing the game for its own sake, and when they see they can't win they concede.

To be clear, I don't agree with this sentiment. Conceding is an efficient way to end a game where you'd otherwise just be going through the motions. But we've already had the conceding debate ad nauseum.

I usually concede because a game is lost, and I see no point delaying my opponent's victory.

i don't concede that's a loser and selfish move

i don't need to win cause my ego doesn't run my life i am here to play a game to the end cause that what the game is with a begining and an end and that only as full and not partial that they are what they are even when i don't get the card i wish for

i rather lose a game that will be play for real to the end than win 1000 times Short unfinished game against weak ego

i'm not a sport fan but i wish to see your faces if you are when every opponent team losing a little bit to much just quit and go home

what if you claim to like triathlon but every time their is one game ; you or your opponent concede victory soon after the swim cause you or they swim too fast so there is no way you catch up ...

do you really can claim you like triathlon? or do you only like it if you have a chance to win therefore what you after is not participating in a triathlon it is to win one ....
