Need option to concede sooner than 50%

Need option to concede sooner than 50%
Reasons:
1. New players: Easy to make a game-ending mistake during learning process, concede lets them rinse it off, learn, and move on.
2. Offline reasons: concede at any percent allows you to leave if you need to for important offline reasons (i.e. partner/kids/job)
3. More games, more fun: easy to see you are outmatched, easy to see the game is not going your way, or maybe you built your deck wrong. allows you to end the game, give the other person a win, fix/learn/improve your deck from the issue, and play again. more games, more fun.
4. Magic Arena & Hearthstone : You can concede at any time.
Please if you would, Board Game Arena admins/developers, implement this feature for this game.
I think it would improve it noticeably.
Thank you.

This wont happens because players cheat to boost their ELO, that's why conceding require the 50% for all games on bga

For what it's worth, my opinion is that conceding before 50% is also just not fun for other players.
Dominion online is almost unplayable against random players because as soon as someone takes a lead, 60% of players will quit. In addition to being frustrating to players who want a complete game experience, it also places an overly-high emphasis on strategies that result in quick gains. Slower-burn strategies can't be effectively explored because the games collapse before these strategies coalesce.

How? Because quick strategies win before you can use your slow one? Then the quick strategy is just better, it has nothing to do with conceding.
Because the person using a slow strategy concedes before they can benefit from it (and maybe win)? Then the problem is the person, not the strategy. If you want to use such a slow strategy, just don't concede.

How does that work?

No, because if a person who only values quick wins is trying a quick-fire strategy and it doesn't "hit," then they quit. You seem to be arguing from a position where these early exits don't happen, and that's great for you. As someone who has had multiple games on other sites end prematurely (Go servers are notorious for this, as is the aforementioned Dominion server), it is absolutely infuriating to have an entire evening taken up by setting up a game, playing for 3 minutes, then having your opponent abandon the game, forcing you to start the cycle anew.

Then we should at least have the option to concede in tournament games. Currently you can't concede
at all in tournaments.
It may seem like a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but it is incredibly frustrating to have to click through a match that you don't want to play anymore. It's even worse when your opponent doesn't understand what's going on and keeps making regular plays instead of the minimum required to advance each day.

I think that is because in some tournaments, the final score in a game matters, and not just the win/lose result.

Bumping this thread.
I believe that this would be a welcoming change especially with the increasing number of tools given to heavy control decks.
Being force to play a game that is already over for a while juste because you cannot concede feels counterintuitive and break the symetry between paper and online gameplay.

On todays AMA Eric confirmed that apart from updating the BGA version for the upcoming expansions + adventure pass, they're also working on smaller updates including the "When can I leave a game"-topic
