Just for clarity and anyone who sees this further in the future I will give you the low-down.
I am the current developer, operating entirely voluntarily.
Some games on BGA are developed internally to the company by employees (paid for by the publisher/studio to BGA), some are done voluntarily by devs, some are done freelance by external devs for profit (paid for by the publisher/studio).
The original 2 devs I believe were internal; przemek88 (last seen 1 year ago), fistachos (last seen 2 years ago). Clearly didn't stick around to maintain this implementation. Ive made some attempt at contact with the studio to no avail so far.
The BGA system doesnt really incentivize game maintaining long term, in my opinion. Ive argued this on the discord, got nothing substantive back. In my opinion a game which isnt maintained shouldn't be allowed to be premium at the very least. Especially as some people might get premium to engage with certain games they enjoy, finding out after that those games aren't working is very bad.
Games on this site generally dont go back to alpha/beta, its happened I think 1-2 times (love letter for example) but the system isnt particularly set up to handle that properly. Approvals as far as I can tell dont reset for example. Love letter has been stuck back in alpha a long time.
The bad is that there is a tonne of push back from BGA internal people to change pretty much anything (in my experience, as a volunteer dev). The good is that the framework itself is getting better and it may not be too long until better systems exist to help volunteers maintain games. The easier it is to get into volunteer dev on BGA, the better maintained the games will be.
Unfortunately I dont think making bug/forum post on unmaintained games is likely to get you far with affecting change in games, in my view you have 2 clear options.
1) Become a volunteer developer and help fix games you care about.
2) Contact the publisher directly and let them know how you feel about the BGA implementation.

Actually, the fact that this is listed as a "Premium" game is silly.
You annoyingly made this post maybe a day or 2 before I started actually fixing the game, it would be good to hear your opinion on the state of the game now.
