I don't see so much of a different, is there any reason you want to flip it?

I think it's usually a mistake. At least you should draw the top card so that if it's lower than average, you can switch it out.

I think in certain formats flipping from own side is quite helpful as it applies pressure toward completing round, giving you further knowledge on good cards for you, and potentially avoiding giving a helpful card to the opponent.
