Switch from Simple mode to Arena mode - what happens to ongoing simple mode games?

I would like to try playing in Arena mode, but I have a bunch of turn-based games ongoing in simple mode. What happens when I switch to Arena mode, can I still finish those games? Is it possible to play turn-based in Simple and Arena mode at the same time?

You can play both at the same time. But your Arena games must conclude by the end of the current season to count.
