FAQ: Rules solo mode Carnegie

2 Points are not perfectly clear for me if I play solo mode:

1. Andrews management turn: Does he take 2 identical Deparments? (Players are not allowed to do so.)

2. Scoring at end of game:
- If Andrew has made donations like paying goods cubes ore Dollars, do I have to pay the cubes/dollars instead of him?
- And: in wich order are the donations scored? If I pay the cubes/dollars for my donations first, then there will be fewer ressources left for Andrews donations.

Thank you for sharing your profound knowledge.

2. And one more issue about my second question, the scoring of Andrews donations:
- Am I obligated to change my cubes into Dollars to give Andrew more points for his donations referring to paying dollars (e. g. the Donation: 5 Dollars for 2 VP).

1. Yes, Andrew can have multiple copies of the same department over the course of the game, but on a single turn he will take at most one of each department. This isn't written in the rulebook but is a ruling made by the designer on BGG: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/285567 ... 7#39990267

2. Yes, Andrew's Welfare donations will come from spending your goods or money. This was clarified by the designer on BGG: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/283832 ... 9#39829349

2a. If you and Andrew both have Welfare donations, you score yours first, so that can be a way to deplete your resources before Andrew scores VP from them.

2b. Yes, you must sell goods cubes if it would increase Andrew's points from a welfare donation.

I couldn't find the last two points in a public BGG post, but Xavier and I had a lot of back and forth clarifications during course of development of the BGA implementation to come to these conclusions.
