Arena jump from Silver to Elite

Hello

I'm quite new and it seems I don't understand how Arena system works. Based from my games in Azul I thought you can get +/- 1 to 5 points for winning or loosing a game and you need 10 to go from Bronze to Silver, then Gold, then Platinum etc. However, I was just playing Harmonies, I was in Silver with about 6 points and after I've won, I was instantly transfered to Elite.

Can someone explain to me what I got wrong with the Arena system or link some Arena rules?

The number of leagues for a game's Arena is dependent on how popular it is. Azul is a very popular game so has many leagues in it before getting to Elite. But many less well-known games only have a single Bronze league below Elite level.

I think (although I'm not certain) that the number of leagues for a game is dependent on how many people played it last season.

Harmonies is a little unusual as it does have a lot of players, but was only released fairly recently and didn't get a full Arena season last.
