Board Game Arena

I have been playing this for a while now with my friends and we can't seem to figure this out.

When a card allows me to stack butterflies on one tree, they only show 1 and have a number behind it. How am I supposed to figure out which butterflies are behind it at the end of the game when I am seeing repeats of them throughout? Theres no way to open the stack to see whats behind it. So far I have had to scroll back on the recap on the right of the screen to manually find when I played them, but thats very difficult and sometimes people don't play for days.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you all for the time.

Hi you just have to click on it on your phone or pass on it with your cursor on your PC.

Tried that but it only showed the 1st one on the screen. It says "occurrences:4" despite having 6 butterflies underneath. So I can't tell anything behind the 1st one.

I tried on both mobile and PC. Mousing over the card only brings up the front. Clicking on mobile does the same.

Well that's weird. Perhaps it depends on your browser ?

Excuse the stupid question: HOW do I stack butterflies? I thought I could only stack toads and hares..

The "Stinging Nettle", from the Woodland expansion, allows this

Mouse over should do the trick, basically. But you can rearrange the size of your cards in the interface: top left.

In doing this, you should be able to see all your butterfly cards nicely stacked on your tree/bush.

Wait really? you can change the card size? I've looked for a way to do this and haven't found it. How exactly, on the web, can you get this game to change the size of the cards in your forest?

On the top right of your display, you will find a) a button to show/hide your stats and right next to it a b) slider with a (+) and (-) symbol: use this to rearrange card size

And use the c) pin to arrange position of your hand cards.

The "Occurrences: 4" refers to the number of occurrences of that particular card through the whole deck.

I'm unfamiliar with the expansion in question, but I can only presume that it only shows you the top card because the types of butterflies in the stacked cards no longer matters (because the way stacked butterflies' score no longer depends on their types) or something like that??

Or are you asking for the purposes of card counting, to know how many of certain types are remaining in the deck...

Or maybe the "6" refers to the number of different types you have there? Do you have multiple cards of similar types in the one stack? (Are you going for scoring multiple sets of butterflies?) If you get to eight cards will it instead then maybe say "8: 6,2" or "8: 6,1,1" or something, depending upon what you have in the stack (and for now "6" is just short for "6: 6")? Otherwise, I guess it's a shortcoming of the way BGA have implemented for now, then? If so, hopefully they're working on a fix.
